Dopamine Glow

I created Dopamine Glow to celebrate a very special girl in my life named Stachira as she stepped into the exciting chapter of turning 18. Designing this piece was an honor, and it’s deeply personal, not just for her, but for anyone who needs a visual reminder to protect their inner light.

The inspiration behind this artwork comes from Stachira’s ability to radiate warmth and joy, lighting up every room she walks into. I wanted this piece to be a visual reminder of the light she carries inside- a light that guides and inspires those around her. The word "dopamine" is meant to remind her of the importance of choosing what sustains that light.

This piece is meant to be a nudge to focus on what nourishes the soul rather than what burns bright and fades fast. It’s about the little choices we make every day that either help us maintain our glow or dim it out.

The imagery in Dopamine Glow is packed with meaning. The sun represents the encouragement to “be the light”—for yourself first, and then for others. The flowers represent continuous growth and connection to nature. And the confetti-like elements add a touch of magic, celebrating the moments where we allow ourselves to dream and evolve. Because life is about staying curious, trying new things, and being okay with changing paths as you evolve.

What makes this piece extra special is its ability to be customized. While dopamine was the word Stachira needed to see, maybe you need a different message. This artwork lets you make that choice.
